Suchomimus is one of those channels that just happens in conflict. A guy who writes books about dinosaurs in a way similar to Watership Down took an interest in Russian armor losses. Now this channel is a steady producer of where equipment losses and large attacks occur, he branches into broader finished intel type reporting, and he’s gone far afield from Ukraine, into Yemen, Israel, Iran, and now Syria.

This channel has filled a part of the role that Twitter formerly did - when a thing happens he and his partisans spring into action and get to the facts of the matter.

Russia still holds Khmeimim air base, their navy vessels are lurking out of shoulder fired weapons range off the coast of Tartus, but the signs that they may be forced to flee are numerous.
