This month was supposed to be about the first three or four stages in The Online Operations Kill Chain. Instead, life got me by the big toe and I’ve been dragged back to highly technical things I started doing clear back in the late 1980s.
So I’ve got the Wireshark protocol analyzer running and I’m poking at a Wordpress site with the Zed Attack Proxy. This is what the Russians would call “operations technical”, rather than the “operations psychological” material we’re supposed to cover.
So that’s that. I’m neither in custody nor in the hospital, I’ve just had this sudden dramatic change in direction, and the part of my brain that does this computer communication stuff is diametrically opposite from the human communications part. Looking back over the last three weeks, this is really a bit of learning I should have done years ago, but health wise it would have been pretty pointless prior to my big cognitive reset in May of 2022.
The Online Operations Kill Chain work is merely stunned, it’s not dead, and we’ll get back to it once I’m done pining for the fjords.
